What is lip blush?

Your lips, only better

Lip blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that adds soft colour and definition to the lips. It can even out an uneven lip line, make lips look fuller and bring back colour that has faded over time.

Erika is known for taking real care over colour. She'll mix a shade that suits your skin tone and the look you want, from barely-there to a polished lipstick finish.

Is it right for me?

  • Wear lip liner or lipstick most days and want to save time
  • Have an uneven lip line you'd like to balance

Questions

Lip blush FAQs

Does lip blush hurt?

Most clients find it very manageable and describe a light scratching or vibrating feeling. Lips are a little more sensitive than brows. Erika works gently, checks in with you throughout and is happy to pause whenever you need a break.

How long does lip blush last?

Usually 1 to 3 years, depending on your skin, lifestyle and sun exposure. A colour refresh every 12 to 24 months keeps it looking its best.

I get cold sores. Can I still have it?

Yes, with some planning. Lip treatments can trigger a cold sore, so tell Erika when you book and speak to your pharmacist or GP about antiviral treatment to take around your appointment.

Can I have lip blush if I've had lip filler?

Usually, yes. Leave at least 4 weeks between filler and lip blush, and mention it at your consultation.

Can lip blush be done over old lip tattoo?

Sometimes. Please book a free consultation first so Erika can check the existing pigment and let you know what's possible.
